How a claim reaches publication
A curator identifies the exact source, records its organization and stable URL, checks the claim at the precision being published, and notes whether the source is primary, organizational, or secondary. A second review is required for direct quotations, translations, contested lineage claims, and rights-sensitive media.
Dates are not made more precise than the source. Unknown places, durations, creators, and permissions remain explicitly unknown rather than being filled in from memory.
