Publication statuses

Verified: The claim or metadata field was checked against the cited source at the precision shown
Approximate: The source supports a year, range, or sequence but not a more exact date
Disputed: Reliable sources disagree; each position must be attributed
Needs review: The item stays out of public quote, transcript, download, and social-sharing surfaces
Link only: A source record may be public, but KMEC does not host, embed, or copy the underlying media

Quotations, transcripts, and translations

A direct quotation requires exact text, author or speaker, work or recording, chapter or talk, printed page or timestamp, edition or recording identifier, source URL, rights status, and human verification. If one of those fields is missing, the text remains private or is replaced with an explicitly labeled editorial summary.

Transcripts are checked against audio. Edited published talks are not silently labeled verbatim. Translations identify the language, translator when known, source edition, and whether the translation was reviewed.

Machine-assisted and AI use

Machine-assisted tools may help structure metadata, identify duplicates, draft clearly labeled summaries, or flag missing fields. A human editor remains responsible for source checking, spiritual-context review, rights decisions, and publication.

Machine-generated wording is never attributed to Sant Kirpal Singh. A direct quote is copied only from a checked source and remains distinguishable from editorial explanation.

Corrections

Send a correction through the KMEC contact page and include the page URL, disputed wording, and supporting source. Material presenting a credible rights or identity concern can be temporarily unpublished while reviewed.

Material corrections should update the visible record, its review date, search index, and structured data. The archive should preserve an internal audit trail without publicly exposing private correspondence.
