Access for everyone
Accessibility statement
KMEC Meditation uses WCAG 2.2 Level AA design patterns so visitors can meditate, read, search, and use source records with a keyboard, screen reader, zoom, reduced motion, or alternative media.

What the public archive supports
- Structure
- One main heading, meaningful section headings, landmarks, breadcrumbs, and a skip link
- Keyboard
- Native links, buttons, forms, and visible focus without hover-only information
- Reading
- Responsive layouts, generous line height, strong contrast, and content that reflows on narrow screens
- Motion
- No flashing or moving reading backgrounds; reduced-motion preferences are respected
- Media fallback
- Readable metadata and provenance remain available when an external player is absent or blocked
- Language
- English document language with source-language labels where known
Offline access
- Available after preparation
- The selected session page, the pavilion and meditation routes, and the same-origin app assets confirmed by the offline preparation step.
- Practice that can continue
- The local timer, on-screen cues and text, and device-local session position for a prepared text or silent meditation.
- Not downloaded
- No archival or linked audio or video, external source page, or other third-party media is included in the offline app shell.
- Download integrity
- Eligible original KMEC text-and-timer sessions check the exact resource-body byte count before a separate save action, verify each cached response and the complete package with SHA-256, report the browser's approximate storage estimate, and provide removal controls. No external media checksum is presented because archival, embed-only, and link-only media is not downloaded.
External and link-only media always require a network connection. Clearing browser site data can remove prepared pages, app assets, preferences, and saved session position from that device.
